Core:

I am a son, brother, husband, uncle, dog-dad, writer, coach, and more. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community and an immigrant from Hong Kong are deeply ingrained in my identity. It took years of self-reflection and personal growth to reach a point where I’ve learned to harness my core identities as my unique leadership superpowers. As a coach, I leverage these experiences, perspectives, and insights to partner with you to unlock your own leadership potential and drive impactful outcomes in work and life.

Experience:

I've navigated the corporate worlds of banking, accounting, finance, and tech, which equips me with a strong business mindset as your coach. My rational, objective nature as a Certified Public Accountant and corporate finance executive keeps me and my clients grounded and effective in achieving goals. At the same time, my empathetic, lighthearted nature is inherent through my Psychology degree and easily drawn out from my 6 lovable nephews and niece plus 2 silly dogs.

My style is a blend of using science to be intentional about identifying solutions that drive long-term growth, while sharing an engaged heart and mind. So conversations with you will often involve that same balance of practicality and curiosity because I’ve found that to deliver the most meaningful outcomes.

Passion:

My core values are authenticity, trust, kindness, health, and success. While my expertise is in leadership and career growth—my passion is in people. Particularly, being curious and revealing the vast potential that you have within yourself. But I don’t simply stop at identifying potential. Leveraging my extensive experience from the corporate world, I will partner with you to reflect and contemplate ideas with a pragmatic lens towards action.

Purpose:

Currently, there is a huge gap. There is a hyper-focus on coaching for executives who are already “at the top”. But this is often when the damage is already done. Studies have shown that there is real value in having more inclusive, empathetic, self-aware leaders. However, that focus on the top further perpetuates the gap if we are not investing in emerging leaders who will grow and fill those future executive seats. This limiting cycle can be addressed simply by expanding the gift of coaching for emerging leaders from the ground up. It has been proven that coaching can bring happier, more self-aware leaders who in turn can help businesses break through barriers and grow exponentially.
